I always feel uncomfortable when people say those things to me too. I have it a little easier though, because my kids and I actually look a little bit alike.
Great post! This kind of stuff happens to us on occasion and I have to say, most of the time I am at a complete loss of what to say without saying too much. Your simple reply is a good one. 🙂
