During a fairly normal conversation with a friend, I brought up that I was advocating for a child on my blog. A child that grabbed my heart and that we were waiting for God to speak to us about him.

AMEN! Us too…..we get this A LOT! Having adopted 8 children through foster care, international, and most recently domestic. People are always saying- haven’t you done enough to us…and your answer is perfect 🙂
This is a WONDERFUL post, Nicole! …it truly brought me to tears. You have addressed this ‘issue’ so well. “Enough”… will always stand out in my mind as one of the best written articles along this line that I have yet to read. It would be great to be re-read on Orphan’s Sunday… or even made into a DVD featuring your beautiful family to share with the congregation. In any case, thank you for writing this and God bless! <
Sincerely,
Tanya Thom
Great Post!!
I love this!! Great post!! 🙂
Wow, how beautiful this post is! I could not have said it better and will link it to my blog. We are starting out on the international adoption journey. Many have rejoiced with us, and many have halfwittedly asked stupid questions, like the person you spoke about above. Children are precious gifts from God. We are so happy that we are able to provide children with a home. We hope to adopt two. Who knows? Maybe more!
Thanks again for your inspiring blog.
I really enjoyed your post Nicole. It really echoes exactly what Adrian and I have only recently come to believe for ourselves.
