“Did I use a pacifier?”
“What was my first word?”
“Was I a cute baby?”
“Do you think she misses me?”
“Is it because of my cleft palate?”
“Why couldn’t I grow in your tummy?”
*Deep breath.*
These are all questions that Shea and Avery have asked me over the past several years. At first, the questions literally took my breath away.
