  1. It seems to me that so many of us come face to face with the orphan spirit in us as we love our adopted children. We so desire them to receive the spirit of adoption that frees them up to live as true sons and daughters, but it doesn’t seem to happen like we thought. I really appreciate you drawing the comparison– it is so true for so many! Thank you. May Father God transform us all by His wonderful Daddy Love!!

  2. Keep hanging on to Jesus! We waited nearly a decade to add our precious daughter to our three biological sons. 4 1/2 years ago she joined our family. I can definitely relate to much you have written about. Things are much easier now than they were the first year, but my heart still hurts for her every time her heart hurts. You might like reading some of what I have written. I am currently working on a book that is in the production phase with CrossBooks. It will hopefully be on the market in the spring. In the meantime, you can read some things here:

  3. This is right where my thoughts have been lately. I am there with you. We are guilty of the same attitudes in our walk with God. It makes you look at everything with a whole new set of eyes and expectations.
