Colorblind? No thanks.

Is there one of those topics in your life, that if touched upon, causes such a hostile reaction within you that you almost instantly feel your blood pressure rising in the form of a red-hot wave working its way up your body? I must honestly answer here; yes, there is!

  1. So much truth to what you say. I, too am proud to be part of a colorful family! Wouldn’t this world be boring without colour?!

  2. Thank you to Tracie for writing such a profound post. It is MUCH appreciated and mirrors my own heart to a T! I pray that many will read this and let it sink in to the core of who they are. Racism is a very sad, yet still very real issue. And if I could cast my vote as to the re-definition of the word “race” …you would have my vote, Tracie!! INDEED, God IS love and He is NOT colorblind. He is the artist that created us all: diverse, colorful, beautiful! Like you, I am SO grateful to have a ‘colorful’ family!! <

  3. Such an excellent post! Thank you for expressing a thought that grabs my heart as well. We recently adopted three biological sisters (same mom). One is caucasian, with blond hair and green eyes. The second is hispanic with black hair and big brown eyes. The baby is African-American with the most beautiful brown skin ever. I often marvel at their beauty. They are so wonderfully different. I just thank God for His creative power and the gift of color He has blessed us with.
